FRENVI production - a combination of research, technology, and quality

FRENVI’s manufacturing unit is located in the hi-tech city of Bangalore, India. This facility houses the pilot production machinery and technology for the mass production of edible cutlery.

Quality as a success factor

With highest known global food safety standards and quality protocols in place, EATlery® products are widely accepted in international markets such as Europe, Australia, the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom.

FRENVI’s efficient production process reduces human intervention for food handling in the manufacturing process and ensures that food and hygiene factors are the highest priority.

Research

Through intensive research over a period of more than 2 years, FRENVI has developed a mass production process that has been patented in several regions.

Technology

Production technology focuses on state-of-the-art automation and robotics technologies that make the production process resource efficient.

Quality

We produce our EATlery® products under the strictest hygiene and safety conditions and in compliance with one of the highest food standards FSSC 22000, FSSAI and IFS.

Product diversification through technological flexibility

With FRENVI’s technology, other tableware products with complicated shapes and bio-based materials can also be produced without any problems due to the machine flexibility. The biological residues from the food and beverage industry, which are being researched in more detail in our research projects, can also be processed with our technology.

Promote sustainable development

We are currently setting up a pilot production of the patented production process in India – Bangalore as part of the DeveloPPP program for startups promoted by „Deutschen Entwicklungsgesellschaft”. The DEVELOPPP program supports promising startups where entrepreneurial opportunities and developmental potential meet. We look forward to making a positive impact on development policy in the areas of research, human resource development, resource and environmental efficiency, and community work as FRENVI grows.
