It’s official: In July 2024, we secured 4.7 million Euro in financing for the construction of a state-of-the-art, fully automated CTC3DF (“Continuous Thermo Compression 3D Forming”) production facility in the Rhine-Neckar district! This investment will enable us to increase the production capacity of bio-based, plastic-free tableware solutions to around 750 million units per year and further expand our leading market position in the greentech sector.
From summer 2025, production of EATlery® (edible tableware made from primary materials) and COMPOSTware (naturally compostable tableware made from secondary materials) will begin on an area of almost 5,000 square meters with around 45 production employees. FRENVI GmbH’s headquarters with administration, research and around 20 employees will remain at the MAFINEX Technology Center in Mannheim, where the greentech startup has been driving forward its patented technology development since 2020. The production facility in Germany enables us to significantly shorten delivery times and further reduce greenhouse gas emissions!
